Coach Andy
focuses on developing players’ skills and attitude towards the game
of soccer. He creates a fun yet challenging environment so every
child can get the most of each practice session. Coach Andy plans
and reviews every practice session to ensure that the kids stay on
task and achieve the objectives of every practice.
Coach Andy
played for the University of Maryland from 1988-1992. Once
graduated from college, he played 6 years for the Virginia Royals
("A" league). With the Virginia Royals his team won the US Amateur
title 1996. Coach Andy holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF)
"E" Coaching License.
At FC Rockville,
Coach Andy led the FCR Strikers to a second place in the OBSL fall
2007. Furthermore, he led the Strikers to a great showing at the
Bethesda Tournament and the Dulles International Tournament. He is
on the board of FC Rockville as the Director of Soccer Development.
